Small World Labs

Small World Labs is a Convio Technology partner. As a part of this partnership, Small World Labs has integrated its online community platform with Convio. Convio clients enjoy all of the benefits that non-profits and associations receive (see Non-Profit Communities and Association & Member Body Communities for more details. However, they receive a few additional benefits “out of the box”:

Single Sign On
Users can sign in once and are automatically logged into both systems. This provides a seamless experience for users as they navigate across your website and community areas.

Personalization of Community Experience
Groups that have been set up in Convio are carried into the community. This enables you to provide a personalized experience for your various Convio Groups segments. Types of personalization include providing different or additional profile questions, limiting or granting access to particular community areas, and personalizing the messaging, alerts, and content that users see. In addition, users can be identified with badges (e.g., volunteer, top contributor, local organization head) to help distinguish and recognize them in the community.

Synching of Community and Convio Data
User registration data that is or has already been provided via Convio can be selected to be displayed in the user’s community profile. In addition, new profile fields added via the Small World Labs community can be tied to Convio constituent fields for automatic synching. This enables users to provide information once, yet keep all systems updated. As constituents provide more data via the community, your Convio data set becomes more comprehensive, enabling your organization to understand, serve, and market to its constituents better.

Custom Integrations
In addition to the above integrations that are available “out of the box” Small World Labs (or any organization) can also create custom integrations using the Small World Labs API to integrate with the Convio API.
