Upcoming Webinar: How American Cancer Society Succeeds with Online Community


American Cancer Society’s Relay For Life event series has raised over $3 billion since its inception. To raise the bar, ACS used Small World Labs to create Relay Nation, the online community for Relay For Life participants across the country.

Recently we welcomed a couple friends from Online Community Results to our office in Austin. Ben Martin and Teri Carden made the trip to learn more about Small World Labs Community and get to know our team better. We enjoyed spending time together and hope that our brief tour of the city would have made the Austin socialites proud.

Volunteer Service Day 2014


Small World Labs recently took a day to catch a breather, have some fun, and give back to the community by volunteering at Sanchez Elementary School in East Austin. Our tasks including painting, planting trees, and laying some limestone for several plant beds.

It was hard work but fortunately, the weather was nice and our gang was up for the challenge. Take a look at the time-lapse video below for a quick recap.

This week the Small World Labs team made the short drive to San Antonio, TX for the Association of Fundraising Professionals International Conference on Fundraising. We had a great time at the show and were able to meet with some of the best development folks in the biz!
